In 2020, Utah DOPL introduced an Expedited Licensure rule: R156-55b-302c. This rule allows for apprentices to take approved exams to either, satisfy the education requirement, or determine placement in an apprenticeship program.

This is a 15-week course with two required labs. The course is primarily online. Each week there will be a lecture that will be delivered via a live-online session. You will be able to watch the recorded session during the week after the live session. In addition, you will be responsible to sign up and attend two in-person lab experiences.
