Intermediate Math Review (2-Day Class)

Take your math skills to the next level with this two-day review designed for students who have a solid understanding of basic arithmetic and want to prepare for the algebra and geometry concepts used throughout the IEC of Utah apprenticeship program.

Topics include:

• Solving equations with variables
• Substituting known values into equations
• Applying the Pythagorean Theorem
• Calculating the volume of common shapes
• Solving multi-step problems commonly encountered in electrical calculations

This course builds on foundational math skills and provides additional guided instruction and practice to help students succeed in apprenticeship coursework.

Format: Two-day, in-person instructor-led class.
