About the Course

This general course teaches infant, child and adult CPR as well as rescue breathing and choking. Also we discuss the #1 and #3 killers heart disease and strokes as well as instruction on proper use of the AED. This course will also include a digital reference book, qualification card and mannequin use. The First Aid portion of the course meets OSHA guidelines for industry and construction.  This course covers all basics required for performing First Aid, some examples include seizures, diabetic emergencies, burns, bleeding, broken bones and more first aid emergencies. Each will receive two year certification through the American Safety and Health Institute, nationally recognized.

All courses are taught in a group setting but always include individual instruction. Our instructors understand the importance of hands-on experience and repetition. To accommodate large groups, multiple sets of mannequins are supplied and the groups are divided into smaller groups for practice and participation. The lower the student to mannequin ratio ensures more effective training.

About the Instructors

All courses for Partners In CPR, Inc. are taught by current Colorado State Certified Firefighters and Paramedic instructors.

In 1989, Partners in CPR, Inc. was created based on the fact that CPR and First Aid saves lives and Firefighters/Paramedics are the experts in this lifesaving field. The founder, a Firefighter/Paramedic, realized that professionals who regularly test their CPR skills should bring this real-life situation to the classroom. In return, these skills are unmatched by any other course providers.
