CEU: Colorado RW, JW, & Master Licensing Preparation - 20hrs


This six-week course takes place on Wednesday nights and is for apprentice electricians preparing to take the  Colorado RW (Residential Wireman) or JW (Journeyman Electrician) licensing exam, or for Journeymen preparing to take their Master Electrician licensing exam.

Who is this Course Meant For?

This course is for individuals who have met, or will soon meet, the on-the-job experience requirements to take the Colorado licensing exam to attain either a Residential Wireman (RW), Journeyman (JW), or Master Electrician license. The requirements can be viewed in detail here on the DORA website.

This course is NOT for individuals who have not attained at least 4000 hours of on-the-job apprentice experience (the minimum requirement for the RW exam!). If you are hoping to one day take a license exam to become an electrician, please start with our Four-Year Apprentice Program (read FAQs here).

This course IS Wyoming approved.

This course counts for 20 hours of CEU credit for electricians who are already licensed.

This course is NOT to prepare you to take your license renewal exam.
