TOURNAMENT RULES

1. Eligibility: The tournament is for IEC Fort Worth/Dallas Members/Employees and guests of the construction industry.
2. A maximum of two people per boat. One person can constitute a team.
3. No fishing guides allowed. You may not fish with a guide on Lake Ray Roberts one month before the tournament date. No pre-fishing from March 20th to March 23rd.
4. Fishing will be done on Lake Ray Roberts.
5. Friday, March 24th, is considered a practice day.
6. All federal, state, and local laws must be observed. FYI: Open container laws are also enforced in boats.
7. All entry fees must be paid before fishing. Sign-in with Tournament Officials must be done by 7:00 a.m. on March 25th. We ask that professional fishing guides not enter the tournament.
8. NO REFUNDS after Thursday, March 16, 2023.
9. Big Bass Pot is $20.00 per team. CASH ONLY & MUST BE PAID BEFORE OR DURING CHECK-IN.
10. You must be checked in, have your live wells checked, and tag initialed at Lake Ray Roberts or other designated live well check areas by a Tournament Official BEFORE YOU BEGIN FISHING by 7:00 a.m. March 25, 2023, Lake Ray Roberts only. (Check-in: Friday, March 24th, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25th, 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.)
11. Trailering is permitted once you check in.
12. All participating teams are to place identification ribbons around the motor or trolling motor (we will provide them).
13. Fishing Hours are 6:00 a.m. or safe light to 3:00 p.m. One team member must be in the weigh-in line by 3:00 p.m., or the team will be disqualified. Weigh-in only at Lake Ray Roberts.
14. Weigh-In: Tournament Officials will be available to weigh in at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The weigh-in line will close at 3:00 p.m. After weigh-in, it is requested all live fish be released in the lake unless you have ONE regulation trophy fish.
15. To meet tournament regulations, all fish must be over 14′. Please measure properly. The maximum number allowed at weigh-in will be (5) fish per team.
16. A coin flip will determine all ties. All decisions made by the Tournament Committee will be final. Official time will be kept by the Tournament Director.
17. No white-gilded or frozen fish will be weighed. If you have a fish close to death when weighing in, alert an official. There is a one-pound (1 lb.) penalty for every dead fish weighed, including Big Bass.
18. All fish must be caught with artificial bait by casting. Trolling is not allowed.
19. Life jackets should be worn while the big motor is in operation; the kill switch (if applicable) should be connected to the life jacket.
20. The tournament will be held regardless of the weather.
21. The IEC Team Trophies will be given to the qualified team with the most weight.
