The IECRM Emerging Leaders Program is a leadership development initiative designed to challenge and cultivate the skills of a carefully selected group of individuals from IECRM member companies.

About the Program

From September through April, Emerging Leaders meet approximately one weekday per month for leadership training, totaling seven full days. In addition, the participants will meet via zoom to work on an evolving community service project. Participants are expected to attend all sessions. Please review the schedule carefully and make arrangements in advance to ensure full participation on each training day.

This year’s classes will focus on:

• Workshops & Discussions
• Personal Leadership
• Government Relations
• Industry Connections
• Community Service

Emerging Leader Participants will receive:

• A discounted ticket to the IECRM Golf Tournament in August 2025
• A complimentary ticket to the IECRM State of the Industry Dinner in November 2025
• A complimentary ticket to the IECRM Summit Awards in April 2026

Who Should Participate?

The ideal Emerging Leader is an individual who aspires to expand and/or refresh their leadership role within their company and the industry.  Apprentices, supervisors, and even established managers are welcome to participate.

When Does the Program Start?

The Emerging Leaders Program begins in September. 

Participants must be nominated by a sponsor within their company. If you are interested in being nominated, please approach your supervisor to discuss the program — the official application form must be filled out by BOTH the nominee/emerging leader participant and the nominator/sponsor. The official application form will be emailed upon registering for the program.

The deadline to submit an application is July 31.
