We’ll explain in a simple and transparent manner the three keys to an effective working, and mutually beneficial, relationship with your surety. We will also explain different types of bonds, along with the obligations and exposures of each. The characteristics of successful contractors to help you benchmark your own business will be examined as well. Lastly, you’ll learn how to negotiate with your surety to best position your business in this arena. We make surety simple.
Subject Matter Expert: Ryan Bagheri Surety Specialist | Ryan is a Surety Specialist for Federated/Granite Re and handles surety product needs in Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado. As a surety specialist, Ryan supports contractor clients who are growing their business through commercial work that require surety backing. He works directly with each client to design a surety program that positions each client to be successful over the long term. Ryan began at Federated in 2008 and has held roles in marketing and marketing management in the Kansas, South Dakota, and Pennsylvania areas. As the only “surety direct” option, Federated removes the broker, a rarity in the industry. We believe this model allows us to partner with our surety clients in a more effective manner. Ryan is backed by our Surety Support Center, who deliver the highest level of quality support in the surety marketplace. Each client works directly with the same Surety Associate to handle the day-to-day surety needs. We are committed to ease of access, speedy responses, and unparalleled customer service. Ryan graduated with a bachelor’s majoring in Finance from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. He enjoys attending his kids’ many sports activities, playing golf, grilling, boating, and watching all sports, especially his favorite teams the Pittsburgh Steelers and Wichita State Shockers. |
