Prepare for a rewarding career in the electrical industry with our Pre-Apprenticeship Program. Gain essential skills, hands-on training, and industry-recognized certifications to jumpstart your journey as an electrician.

Program Highlights:

✔ OSHA 10 Certification – The OSHA 10 portion of this course is fully online and must be completed within 30 days.
✔ First Aid/CPR Certification – Earn a nationally recognized First Aid/CPR certification upon successful completion of the course.
✔ Hands-on Training – Learn fundamental electrical installation techniques and material applications.
✔ Career Preparation – Develop strong work ethics, build your resume, and understand the expectations of working in the field.

What You’ll Learn:

✅ The Merit Shop Way and the importance of professional work ethics
✅ Resume-building strategies to enhance job opportunities
✅ Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
✅ Material identification including boxes, straps, connectors, raceways, cables, and terminations
✅ Conduit bending, wire installations, and switch installations
✅ Working in various outdoor elements and real-world job site conditions

Course Schedule – July 2025

•  9 Days of Instruction (Mondays, Wednesdays & one Saturday)
•  Weekday Classes: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
•  Monday & Wednesday Dates: July 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th, and 30th
•  Saturday Class: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
•  Saturday Date: July 12 (CPR/First Aid Course)
