IEC MO Day at the Capitol
Missouri IEC Day at the Capitol 2026
Tuesday, March 24, 2026
Join the IEC of Greater St. Louis as we bring the voice of independent electrical contractors to the Missouri State Capitol. IEC Day at the Capitol is a powerful opportunity for members to engage directly with state legislators, share real-world perspectives, and advocate for policies that support independent companies, fair competition, and a strong merit shop workforce.
In partnership with our lobbying firm, First Capitol Advisors, IEC will dedicate the first half of the day to coordinated meetings with legislators and their staff. Participants will receive guidance and support to help make these conversations productive and impactful. Your presence helps ensure lawmakers understand how legislation affects local contractors, small businesses, and the skilled workforce that keeps Missouri running.
This is a free event, but RSVP is required so we can plan meetings and logistics accordingly. When registering, participants should list any specific legislators they would like to meet with. Please note: listing a legislator does not guarantee a meeting, but every effort will be made to accommodate requests.
Stand up for your business. Strengthen our industry. Be part of the advocacy that protects opportunity, independence, and the future of electrical contracting in Missouri.
