Covers 2023 NEC updates
- Course Duration: 4 hours
- Cost:
- Non-Member: $60 (for one license upload)
- IEC of Utah Contractor Member: $40 (for one license upload)
- Additional license uploads: $15 each
- Location: Simulcast (online broadcast)
- CE Approval: Approved for 4 hours of continuing education for Utah, Colorado, Idaho, and Wyoming electrician licenses.
- Funding: Partial funding provided by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing from the 1% Surcharge Funds on building permits.
- License renewal requirements:
- For electricians: 16 hours total (4 hours NFPA 70E and 12 hours of code).
- For contractors: 1 hour of energy and 5 hours of core.
- Important: If you forget to add a license number, you have a one-week grace period to correct this and upload hours for an additional license. After that, it’s not possible to update the hours per Utah DOPL policies.
